My professional career in therapy began in 1998, when a physical ailment following bereavement led me to explore the benefits of complementary medicine to support conventional medicine.
As a practitioner I began to see a recurring pattern, although patients were benefiting from effective treatments such as massage, aromatherapy and reflexology th ey were still returning with the same stresses week after week.
This led me to focus more on the psychological aspect of well-being, undertaking further training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), hypnotherapy and hypno-analysis.
I found that if used effectively, these therapies could help to create lasting positive change and help to reduce negative emotions that had been held for a long time, sometimes even since childhood.
